Left behind

Wind and snow whipped at Atari's back. She tried her best to shield her mares face from the forces but it was useless. Snow and sleet was coming from all direction now. "Well its a good thing I brought the heavy blanket", Atari thought to herself. Wind had snuck up the back of her thick coat sending chills throughout her. "This is insane" She called through the wind trying to get Phillips attention only to be answered with faint yelling and curse words. She had made Phillip hold on to the young arab, Phyre, and she was glad she did. Poor Phillip was being thrashed and dragged through the snow by the frightened filly. She silently praised Lotus for being so well behaved even though she new the mare was scared as well. She had he head pressed against Ataris chest ever since the storm began to pick up. Atari cursed the weather report for this afternoon. "Partial snowing my ass!". They had arrived at the helicopter sight to find many stable and horses awaiting the helicopters coming and going. Atari and Phillip were the last stable to arrive and had waved good by as the helicopter before them left with another set of horses leaving them alone on the strip awaiting the next one. . but it didn't come. As they stood their waiting and waiting the wind had begun to whip up and snow began to fall harder. It was fluffy and white but it sat heavy on everything causing a thick blanket to form. Atari was worried they'd been left behind due to the sudden unexpected change in weather. She began to panic. What would they do? They could load back up and high tail it back to Cali but in weather like this they wouldn't make it very far. Atari sighed trying to think of a back up plan, she had remember the warning notice about weather and how helicopters would not be flying in the storms but she was praying they'd change their mind. Maybe some other stable would remind them that we're down here. Atari doubted it. She didn't know many other stables and rarely had time conversate with others due to the training and work the ranch needs. She just sighed rubbing her mares face trying to clean the crust from her fur. "I need to higher more people" she said out loud. Suddenly lotus' ears perked and she look toward the skies, even Phyre at stood still ears erect listening to the faint buzzing in the sky. Suddenly through the fog and falling snow she could see the outline of a helicopter coming toward the landing zone. She would've leapt with joy if it weren't for her frozen limbs holding her back. she patted her mare, "I guess someone thought of us" She moved them to the side of the strip and did her best to help Phillip regain his command on the arab as they awaited the helicopter to land. . *quick ending haha*

Sometimes I feel I get left behind a lot in the harpg world :3 but tis okay I can not complete images or entries as fast as other people nor can I do rpg's between stables well either so DWR just kind gets left behind but we manage <3 enjoy guys
