Sang was ready. She had practiced everyday in her new home to be ready to show. She hated sitting around the pasture doing nothing. Now it was time to shine. She thought it was naive of her handlers to think she needed a "warm-up" competition before getting on to the real dressages, but she didn't complain as long as she was out competing. Her handler tonight was Phillip, it seemed Atari was not much for staying out late. Which she deemed odd since she saw her sneaking down to a neighboring house the other night.

Phillip was leading her down the path toward the lit outside arena since she was about to go on. Through out the way horses were busy being rushed back and forth and now and again she would catch the eye of a stallion and receive the usual nickers of affection. Not wanting to be rude she acknowledge the young studs but in think to herself, "not happening" or "too young" "too stupid". And as passing mare would walk on she want to sneer and snort but she had to keep it to her self! She was about to perform no time to hound the competition with intimidation.

Finally it was time! The gates opened and she was lead out into the bright lights of the show arena! This is where she belonged!


Haha I was writing this -scattered yes- and couldn't help but laugh. I've made her a judgmental woman. haha
